Portsmouth Virginia 125th Annual Memorial Day Parade

Every year since 1884, the City of Portsmouth, Virginia has held an annual Memorial Day Parade. This year is the 125th year of the parade -- the nation's oldest annual parade! These photos were taken on Memorial Day, May 26, 2008, and show the highlights of the parade. The parade started at I C Norcom High School on High Street, and ended at Crawford Parkway.
